Life Fitness introduces Symbio™, its award-winning cardio product line with next-generation biomechanics to the international fitness world

Life Fitness’ latest innovations build on the company’s legacy as a cornerstone of gyms and fitness facilities around the world. FIBO’s more than 110,000 attendees will be able to learn about its first ultra-premium cardio line, Symbio™. The four-machine collection was recently unveiled at the 2024 IHRSA Convention & Trade Show in Los Angeles presented.

Highlights of the Cardio Portfolio

The Life Fitness team invites FIBO visitors to experience the products of the Symbio collection first hand at the trade fair (Hall 6, Stand 6A53 and 6C54) from April 11 to 14:

  • The Symbio Runner™ (treadmill) features Adaptive Flex Deck® technology, which allows exercisers to select their preferred surface hardness with simulated terrain, reducing the risk of injury.
  • Symbio™ Incline Elliptical features a patent-pending tilt mechanism that creates an ellipse that mimics the body’s natural walking motion.
  • The Symbio SwitchCycle™ functions as a 2-in-1 bike with an upright seat, 100 resistance levels, macro gear shifting for sprint resistance jumps in the group and sensor-controlled positioning for optimal comfort.
  • Symbio™ Recumbent Cycle facilitates optimal seat adjustment by displaying seat and positioning on the screen.

The Life Fitness booth will also showcase the new, updated ICG indoor bikes, specifically the IC5 and IC6 models as part of the company’s group cycling solution.

Highlights of the strength training portfolio

In addition to Symbio, the Life Fitness booth will also showcase a range of new products from the fitness brand’s strength training portfolio. In addition to new benches, Insignia machines with Connected Fitness and Hammer Strength plate machines, the booth will also showcase the Dual Adjustable Pulley with progressive stabilization and the Assisted Nordic Ham.

  • Dual Adjustable Pulley: The Dual Adjustable Pulley sets the standard for versatility and training effectiveness – it enables almost endless strength exercises that benefit both exercisers who are looking for more variety and facilities that want to make the most of their weight room.
  • Assisted Nordic Ham: The Hammer Strength Assisted Nordic Ham Exerciser is a plate-loaded product that allows athletes to perform full range Nordic Hamstring Curls. The company is also excited to launch Life Fitness Digital Solutions, an evolution of its software platforms that connect Life Fitness equipment with tools to provide trainers and exercisers with an even more personalized training experience while maximizing profitability for fitness facility operators.

Life Fitness Connect Systemwith Connect-Kit, TrainerConnect and the ConnectApp for the exerciser: The Connect system seamlessly integrates Life Fitness cardio, strength and functional zones. Exercisers can receive comprehensive tracking and training instructions via the new Connect app. Trainers can offer personal coaching via Trainer Connect. These Life Fitness tools, including tracking sensors for strength equipment, are part of the company’s technology acquisition as part of the Sony Startup Acceleration Program.

FacilityConnect is the next-generation asset management platform to ensure optimal device performance and make data-driven decisions to manage facilities, deliver custom video content, and personalize device options.

Additionally, Life Fitness recently announced a partnership with Pavigym: LFX x Bootiq offers LFX small group training rooms from Life Fitness, complemented by Bootiq software from Pavigym, which transforms the entire workout experience into an exciting, immersive and playful training concept.

At FIBO 2024 in Cologne, Life Fitness will be offering several on-site activities from April 11 to 14 in Hall 6, Stand 6A53 and 6C54, including:
